【内容摘要】
This paper proposes a novel mechanism for explaining secular reallocation of resources between sectors. When sectors differ in returns to scale, increases in production scale result in changes in relative prices, which further lead to structural transformation through a price effect. If sectoral outputs are complements, sectors with larger returns to scale will shrink along economic development.
【个人简介】
郭凯明：中山大学岭南学院教授、博士生导师，国家级高层次人才，国家社会科学基金重大项目首席专家，研究领域集中在宏观经济学、发展经济学与中国经济，先后主持国家级纵向课题七项，在《中国社会科学》《经济研究》《管理世界》《经济学（季刊）》《世界经济》及China Economic Review等国内外核心期刊发表论文七十余篇，合著出版《宏观经济结构转型：理论与中国应用》《宏观经济学与中国政策》。
